Datuk Seri Dr Ronald Kiandee has offcially handed over his baton as a Public Accounts Committee (PAC) chairman to Barisan Nasional's Parit Sulong lawmaker Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, making her the first woman to chair the PAC.
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Kiandee said although it was not easy for an opposition to lead the government-majority committee, but he was confident that his successor will do a good job.
Meanwhile, the new PAC chairman expressed her gratitude over the appointment and called for support within the committee to working together in their investigations.
