The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) urged the government to reconsider injecting the National Film Development Corporation (Finas) with outside talent in the wake of the unsatisfactory record as stated in the 2012 Auditor General.
PAC chief Nur Jazlan Mohamed also questioned how Finas could be wracked with financial mismanagement from 2009 to 2012 when the film board has financial autonomy and a Finance Ministry representative chairing its own audit committee.
