The Public Accounts Committee has deemed several school buildings in Sarawak as “unsuitable for use”, and wants the Education ministry to take proactive action within the next two months.

Its chairperson Mas Ermieyati Samsudin also announced several reccomendations including enhancing the planning and implementation of school maintenance.

This follows the committee’s visit to four schools in Sarawak last month, namely SK Supok, SK Nanga Grenjang, SK Serabang and SK Paku Central.
