A group of Cameron Highlands residents had hoped to petition Pahang Menteri Besar Adnan Yaakob for their land titles.
However, the meeting ended on a sour note when the menteri besar became upset with one of the residents, whom he claimed was talking too much. He then told the group to leave.
Led by PSM Cameron Highlands secretary Suresh Kumar, some 20 residents had waited outside Adenan's office to raise their plight with him.
In a video of the encounter uploaded by PSM on Facebook, the menteri besar stopped to listen to Suresh but became annoyed when a woman decided to vent her frustration.
