Dewan Rakyat Speaker Pandikar Amin Mulia called for a brief recess after an uproar in Parliament following Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Azalina Othman call for a motion to suspend Gelang Patah MP Lim Kit Siand for six months.
The motion was supported by Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Razali Ibrahim.
Pandikar then called for a brief recess at around noon and said that the motion to suspend Kit Siang will then continue.
He adds that if Kit Siang is still in the House when he returns, he will order the police to forcibly remove him.
He also threatens to evict the other rebellious MPs.
