The Singapore Court of Appeal has granted Malaysian death row inmate Pannir Selvam Pranthaman a last-minute stay of execution, just hours before he was set to be hanged today (Thursday, 20th February).
The decision allows him to file a post-appeal application under Singapore’s new law, which gives death row prisoners a final legal avenue.
