PAS announced that it is offering a change in leadership in Kelantan for the menteri besar and deputy menteri besar positions, while Terengganu and Kedah will maintain their incumbent leaders if the party continues to receive the mandate after the state polls tomorrow.

PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan said this decision was taken after the central PAS daily meeting yesterday.

“(We are offering) a change in the combination of menteri besar and deputy menteri besar for Kelantan, by offering a new combination of leadership that is a religious leader and a technocrat leader, subject to the rakyat and the decree of the sultan of Kelantan.”
