PAS to hold Act 355 rally at Dataran on Feb 18

All political parties have been invited to attend PAS' rally in support of amendments to the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act (Act 355).
Asked whether invitations had been extended to DAP and Amanah, PAS information chief Nasrudin Hassan replied: "We are inviting all."
"We are even inviting the Malay rulers to grace the rally," he added.
Speaking at a press conference in Shah Alam, Nasrudin said the invitations will be sent over the next week starting today.
On Umno's participation in the rally, PAS deputy president Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man said they will get all who "love Act 355" involved.
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang is seeking to amend Act 355 and raise the punishment limit to 30 years’ jail, RM100,000 fine and 100 strokes of the rotan.
