The upcoming state elections have the potential to cause a change in the federal government, said Perikatan Nasional (PN) Youth head Ahmad Fadhli Shaari.

He said the Federal Constitution has many ways to facilitate this and the key will be PN winning in Selangor.

Should Harapan and BN fail to retain Selangor, said Ahmad Fadhli, then PN will have a new menteri besar and possibly a new prime minister.

“It is possible that we will also have a new prime minister being sworn in. How can we change (the prime minister)? There are many ways. The Constitution allows many methods."
