Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai says airline passengers have been forbidden from using their Samsung Galaxy Note 7 during flights nor can it be stored in their checked luggage. The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) made that decision following Samsung Electronics' investigation into reports of the device catching fire while being charged, identified there was a problem with the battery cell.
