With a Unity Concert, a countdown, fireworks and even a midnight run to boot, Pesta Harapan celebrated Malaysia Day 2018 with a bang.
Numerous local personalities such as Siti Nurhaliza, Bunkface, Estranged and many more. Several MPs and assemblypersons were also present at the event.
The Malaysia Day countdown was led by PKR President-Elect Anwar Ibrahim, with Youth and Sports Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman flagging off the 5km run.
2018 is the first year where Malaysia Day is celebrated under the new government following a change of power in the 14th General Elections
