PETA's iconic "dinosaurs" descended upon Kuala Lumpur today, making their stand in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building with the message: "Get out of the Stone Age, go vegan!".
In a statement, Jason Baker, PETA Asia's Senior Vice President, proclaimed that the customary slaughter and consumption of animals is a primitive practice unsuitable for a progressive nation like Malaysia.
He urged citizens to abandon their meat-based diets and adopt a vegan lifestyle.
PETA's initiative emphasises that adopting veganism not only saves nearly 200 animals per person annually, but it also significantly reduces the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
