Perak Pakatan Harapan carried 20 bags of 20,000 coins valued at RM1,420 to the Election Commission office in Ipoh as payment for the fees to file objections against phantom voters they have identified in the state.
The group, led by Taiping MP Nga Kor Ming said that Election Commission refused to provide political parties with a soft copy of the electoral roll, forcing party workers to carry a photocopy machine and power generator to the front of the EC office in order to make copies of the electoral roll. Two members of the group also dressed up as ghosts in protest against the several hundred phantom voters that were discovered by Perak Pakatan Harapan.
