We're so HAPPY that Pharrell has just been named new judge for season 7 of The Voice! Hey Internet, you're watching ClevverNews. If there was ever a perfect person to judge a singing competition show it would be multi-talented Pharrell Williams. The super music producer, singer, insider, fashion titan has just officially been named a judge on The Voice. Get ready for lots of red chair happy dances! The show announced the news by tweeting a photo of Pharrell's hat sitting in one of their famous red chairs writing, "Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #newvoicecoach". There's gonna be a lot more 'happy' puns where that came from. Pharrell joined in the tweet fest retweeting The Voice adding, "This is going to be so fun". Fellow coach Adam Levine welcomed P to the partay, "Welcome to the circus dude!" 40 year old Pharrell is likely replacing CeeLo Green who announced on The Ellen Show he is dunzo with the show foreva. Usher will take a break next season and likely return again for Season 8. No word yet on if Christina Aguilera will be back as planned, cause as you may know she's pregnant with a lil baby girl. But don't forget Pharrell is no stranger to The Voice, serving as a mentor on Team Usher in season 4. Kudos to NBC and The Voice, Pharrell could not be a better choice for coach right now, he's been dominating the airwaves, award shows and producing hits for others like no one else.
