Move over ranch dressing and chili flakes – cuz Pizza’s got a new best friend that’s shaking things up!
Yep guys it’s true. Pizza lovers have spoken and soy sauce is new way of life when it comes to dipping your slice and the internet is freaking the freak out about it.
If you’re like me you’re probably hold up wait a minute, this is a thing? Although on the real I love me some msg and some sodium intake so this was news I very glad to hear. So this whole thing got started thanks to a Canadian tennis player named Genie Bouchard who randomly tweeted out on two days ago to say: Pizza dipped in soy sauce is LIFE. Apparently this statement caught the attention of the Canadian sports world because the next day to sportscasters tried the trend on air
Wow so clearly that was mind blowing for them.
But it turns out that this whole pizza soy sauce romance has been pretty polarizing for people. In fact, a New York Post headline about this trend reads “ People are ruining perfectly good pizza with soy sauce.” Ok, ok, I think we all need to just calm down. Soy sauce is amazing. Everyone knows that. Kelly Parker tweeted out to say: How about we stop offending pizza with things like pineapple and soy sauce. How would that be? The humanity...
This is like crossing the streams.
Gotta say I agree with Kelly on the pineapple note. Fruit (beyond tomatoes obviously) should stay the heck away from the za.
SO guys, what do you think? I gotta keep it 100 with you and let you know I have not tried this trend but I plan to asap. I can already tell you I’m going to love it because like one of the guys on that sports show I mentioned earlier said (his name was Jay) – it’s like putting salt on pizza. So again, I’m gonna love this.
What do you guys think? Are you offended by this condiment touching your pizza? Hit us up to join this hard hitting convo and then click here to find out the genius way starbucks employees are trolling annoying customers. I’m still giggling over that one. Thanks so much for hanging guys – I’m Joslyn Davis and I’ll catch you later!
