PKR's candidate for Gambir Naim Jusri tested positive for Covid-19 upon arriving at the nomination centre.

He was still allowed to file his nomination papers after being isolated. His candidacy was submitted by his proposer.

Naim's nomination papers were accepted and his name will still appear on the ballot paper. However, he was absent during the final candidate announcement.
