PKR Youth filed a police report against former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohammad after he cast aspersions on the loyalty of Indian and Chinese Malaysians.

Its Central Leadership Council member M Sathasivam said they lodged the report to oppose Mahathir's statement.

Previously, in an interview with Indian TV channel Thanthi TV, Mahathir had claimed that Indian Malaysians are not completely loyal to the country as they still identify with their country of origin.
