The 10-point plunge in the approval rating of Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak in the latest Merdeka Center poll was because of MCA's absence from the Cabinet since the 13th general election says outgoing MCA deputy president Liow Tiong Lai.
He also said this is merely a temporary setback and Najib has in fact done well in improving the economy following the May 5 general election, but the government's subsidy rationalisation process has affected many people.
