Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today reprimanded his cabinet member, Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, for not adhering to the Parliament’s dress code.

This comes after Saifuddin donned a purple batik shirt with white stripes as he attended Dewan Rakyat proceedings, with an opposition MP pointing out the choice of apparel.

“I agree with Hulu Terengganu MP (Rosol Wahid) and I remind the home minister to adhere to parliamentary rules,” Anwar said during the prime minister’s question and answer session before answering Rosol’s other queries.
