The government will introduce a rebate of RM2,400 for the purchase of electronic motorbikes for those with an annual income of below RM120,000.

“To encourage the use of electric motorcycles, the government is introducing the Electric Motorcycle Use Encouragement Scheme for people with an annual income of RM120,000 and below.

“This scheme will provide a rebate of up to RM2,400 to buyers,” Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said when tabling Budget 2024 at the Dewan Rakyat today.
