The Perikatan Nasional (PN) has decided not to announce their menteri besar candidate for Selangor ahead of the upcoming state elections.

Its chairperson, Muhyiddin Yassin, stated that the names of the menteri besar candidate will only be announced when the time is right.

"The important thing is that we don't need to announce it. In principle, in the list that we have, we have identified many prominent figures and when the time is right... we will know who the menteri besar is," he said in a press conference after attending the launch of the PN Youth machinery in Shah Alam, Selangor, today.
