Police are seeking the person behind a viral video uploaded showing footage of this year's Penang Chingay Festival Procession, zooming in on flags that the said person claimed to be "communist flags".
Seberang Perai Utara district police chief ACP Noorzainy Mohd Noor said a police investigation did not find any communist flags being carried during the procession.
The flag, which was said to be a communist flag, was actually one with the word "Kiwanis" on it, namely, a voluntary organisation in Malaysia.
