BN chairperson Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said BN is determined to ensure responsible transparent political practices in the country through the enactment of the Political Funding Act.
This is similar to Pakatan Harapan’s promise in its manifesto 'Tawaran Harapan PRU15' to introduce the act to curb the phenomenon of money politics and misappropriation of funds.
"At the same time, the appointment of key national positions such as MACC chief commissioner and Election Commission chairperson will be screened by a special parliamentary committee," said Zahid.
