Candidates in the upcoming Universiti Malaya (UM) student election are campaigning for academic freedom and for the University and University Colleges Act 1971 (UUCA) to be abolished.
Of the three camps contesting in the election, one unveiled a “Student Agenda” for the election at a press conference on campus today.
The self-proclaimed “pro-student” pact also accused the incumbent Penggerak Mahasiswa (Penggerak) of being “pro-administration” and failing to fairly represent students.
