As of Oct 9, a total of 137,987 laptops have been distributed to students from lower-income families in 1,169 schools across the nation, said Education Minister Mohd Radzi Md Jidin.

Radzi said additionally, 6,387 laptops have been received by Yayasan Hasanah - the foundation in charge of distributing the laptops - to be distributed to the students in the near future.

“The balance of 5,626 units will be distributed as soon as Yayasan Hasanah receives them,” he said in a written reply on Monday.
