Rainbow Lion In The Sunlight At Menara Hap Seng KL

The pursuit of the 2019 lunar new year lion dance performance around town continues with this episode of Manaweblife.This video was captured at the early hours of sunrise at the Menara Hap Seng building at Jalan Sultan Ismail in the commercial heart of the Golden Triangle of Kuala Lumpur. Two interesting sights captured the attention of the patrons and guests at this corporate event venue. Firstly, the pair of lions are dressed in wonderful rainbow coloured costumes unlike the usual red, gold or white ones. Secondly, the main drummer of this troupe is a muslim girl in tudung ! It's an unusual sight and indeed it is truly Malaysian. The girl has been performing with this troupe for over ten years and now with kids of her own ! Watch this high pole acrobatic performance that teases the crowd at every move and to the rhythm of the lead drummer  and a God of Prosperity. This troupe adds a splash of rainbow colours to the new year .
