RC ADVENTURES - ALTERED BEAST 4x4 - BLiZZARD Trail in a DEEP FREEZE

- 1080p HD for your viewing pleasure! Originally called "the BEAST", this truck is a custom build that started with an Axial SCX10 Honcho. This truck has been with me since 2010, and has been featured in many of my RC ADVENTURE videos. It has been modified and rebuilt at least 8 times, and most recently in a short series called "The Beast - Restoration and Upgrades" - If fact, if you are interested in seeing how I built this machine - here is the complete playlist:

At the time of this filming, my city is experiencing a Blizzard .. not too bad.. but the camera does not quite capture how cold that whipping wind truly is! It feels about -26c and judging on how quickly the water is freezing up.. I would have to think I am pretty close. BUT! None-the-less, the show must go on.. so I packed up today, took the ALTERED BEAST with me .. and trekked into the woods, and down to the freezing creek.

This is the FiRST RUN of the ALTERED BEAST since I have done the upgrades. I have not tuned the truck to how I like it as yet, BUT I was quite pleased with its performance in the Sub-Zero temperatures. Only problem, was the weight of the Ice forming on the entire vehicle. Amazing amounts in such a short amount of time.

So, I captured as much footage as I could for you guys before my slipper clutch started to give out. Everything was so cold and constricting.. that everything started to tighten up.. haha! Still, it was a blast to film, and a fun time. I really enjoy getting outdoors and taking a good hike to an RC Playground.
