RC ADVENTURES - Amazing Steel Hydraulic Bulldozer - Stahl / Liebherr 742 1/14 Scale

Click to Subscribe! ► - Powerful and Stunning, are two words that come to my mind mind when using this Heavy Mini Dozer. These particular models are becoming harder to come by, as the company that produced them (Stahl Modellbau Germany) no longer exists. After many years of searching, I was able to finally find a good one to add to the RCSparks Studio Trucking crew. This machine was restored by Keith Forman, a well known builder in the RC World. I think his color choice of Black and Doosan Orange makes this rig incredibly striking. I knew when he posted it for sale that the RC ADVENTURiSTS of the world would love to see this thing in on the show! Construction RC has been HUGE in other parts of the world and Canada is starting to see why! These machines take a huge amount of skill to fabricate, customize and operate. Hours of dedicated practice and art go into these styles of machine, but it is so worth it it. Yes, this machine is electric and is run from a battery pack. The Hydraulics are controlled from a Pump and hose system, via a radio control signal sent from the hand held transmitter.
The Body parts and Blade are made of 1.5 mm thick hard rolled aluminum. The finished drive carrier is made ​​of cast aluminum . The base plate is stamped from sheet steel. The ball-bearing guide wheels are cushioned by preloaded coil springs. The hood can be removed, and the cockpit doors open. The tracks are made of steel, and are very sharp. The motors are running a 200:1 gear ratio, and each track has a motor and gearbox dedicated to the drive cog.
