RC ADVENTURES - GMC SiERRA 2500 DENALi HD w/14" LiFT on 54"s - TRAXXAS TRX4 1/10 Scale MONSTER TRUCK

"Scaled Down" Radio Control Trail Trucking is one of the neatest and most creative sides of a massive hobby, and community of avid enthusiasts - Globally! From every corner of the world, this type of Radio Control Trucking is exploding! The variety and versatility of platforms available to the general public seems to literally have no end of building and customization opportunity! Today I have done a complete transformation on my Traxxas TRX4, by adding some 110mm Dual Stage Shocks, and a 1/8th scale 2500 GMC Denali HD Truck Body. I also added some vintage Sledge hammer 2.2 inner diameter Tires that closely simulate some 54" Full Size Boots.
I went out on to my backyard scale trail and stunt track, and whipped around quite a bit. I am shocked at the clearance and great balance of the truck, though it is high up. The wider wheel base of the tires certainly gives this truck more stability - and a "MONSTER APPEARANCE! I believe part of the stability is the weight of my Brushless Roc 412 3100kv Sensored Tekin Motor, as well as my RX4 ESC and Battery. I also have removed the front and back bumpers that were stock on my Traxxas TRX4
I know the portal axles may not seem realistic for this giant Denali - but ANYTHiNG iS POSSiBLE IN FULL SCALE, as well as in the Radio Control hobby. I think thats why I love it so much!
The Slow Motion shots going up tire hill were pretty awesome.. Im gunna have to start filling in some holes.. they are getting pretty back after having so many trucks running up it.. Haha! Stay tuned for more RC Trail Truck Action from my back yard scale course!
