Well, I'll start by saying that there are many different methods to how one can clean their Radio Control trucks and cars. Today, I will demonstrate the method I use to clean a truck after a fairly filthy run.
Now, there are no chunks of mud in my Traxxas Slash 4x4. If there was, I simply would have tipped it upside down, gave it a few good pats on the bottom, and removed the larger debris.
In this video, I am using products I picked up at . Heath, the owner is a friend of mine and is basically the KiNG of RC maintenance products.
WD-40 and Dry Silicone spray are great. Water Removal, and Water Dispersement are the two things you want to keep in mind when using water to clean. WD40 does that, and helps lubricate pivot points and helps protect bearings. WD 40, does not last as long as a good, dry silicone spray.
