The Dewan Rakyat has passed the Constitutional Amendment Bill 2025, paving the way for the reinstatement and enforcement of the Parliamentary Services Act.

The bill was passed with a two-thirds majority, with 148 MPs voting in favor, 57 abstaining, and 17 absent.
