Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said on Wednesday that the renewed search for MH370 is going on smoothly despite concerns the vessel involved had turned off its monitoring system for three days.
Observers who have been following the search mission were alarmed when the vessel “disappeared” from satellite tracking between Feb 1 and Feb 4.
The vessel was en route to the Australian port of Fremantle for a scheduled stop and refuelling.
