Robert Pattinson is getting candid and revealing the crazy reason he was almost fired from the Twilight Saga!
Would you believe that RPattz almost lost the icon role of Edward Cullen because couldn’t turn that frown upside down.
Guys I can’t make this stuff up. Robert, who is easily one of the biggest celebrities to hit the big screen in the last few decades has experienced the craziest things that fame has to offer and probably the most passionate dedicated fans on the planet – much of that due to his portrayal of the legend that is vampire Edward Cullen. But here’s the kicker – he was seriously (not joking) almost fired for NOT SMILING ENOUGH. Again, this is a real, true shorty. Robert recently opened up saying: "If you're going into a relationship with someone, the way to make it really intense is if you can barely talk to each other, you can barely touch each other—it's incredibly serious all time. That's what teenage relationships are, But everyone kind of wanted it to be like, 'No they should just be like happy and having fun. That's what people want.'" Producers let RPattz know they wanted him to lighten up a by giving Robert a copy of Twilight where the parts that Edward smiled were highlighted. What did the actor do in response? He says he QUOTE: got a different kind of highlighter and highlighted all the times when he frowned. And that’s when things took a turn. The man behind Edward says his agents flew up to the Twilight set and told him this - you have to do the opposite of what you're doing now or you're going to be fired today...I came back after lunch and was like, 'Hi!'" OMG can you believe it??? I honestly can’t imagine a world where Robert Pattinson isn’t Edward Cullen. It’s just too hard to even picture. Glad he found his smile all those years ago! Dying to hear from you guys those – does this news at all shock you or can you kind of see Rob dealing this? Personally I think he’s got a really unique sense of humor.
