Robert Pattinson Reveals He May Be Interested in a Twilight Reboot?

No, I didn’t stutter, and YES, this is a thing that actually went down – but the real question is Rob actually ready to return to Forks?
Five years have come and gone since the fifth and final installment of the Twilight series was released, so it’s about time we start gathering our thoughts about opening a new chapter surrounding a spin-off starring the one and only Edward Cullen.
Rob was recently asked about the possibility of a reboot, to which he replied QUOTE, “Really, they’re expanding it? So I’ll get my own spin-off?” Ok, so maybe not an entire spin-off based on Edward, but there have been talks about rebooting the series as a whole.
It’s no question Twihards are quite the ‘devoted’ group of fans, so when news of Rob’s interest spread throughout the interwebs, naturally, fan-freak outs ensued. Rob talked more about the idea of a reboot, saying, “I'm always kind of curious. Anything where there's a mass audience—or seemingly an audience for it—I always like the idea of subverting people's expectations. There could be some radical way of doing it, which could be quite fun. It's always difficult when there's no source material.”
In recent years, Rob has established himself as an actor outside of the infamous friendly vampire, admitting that his life has since calmed down since the Twilight craze, but that might’ve changed since news of a rumored reboot… and although Rob may be willing to return to Forks, Washington, to reprise his role, many have wondered if Kristen Stewart, who played Edward’s love interest, Bella Swan, would happily do the same…
Back in 2015, Kristen seemed to be slightly uncertain about returning, saying, “I was so genuinely, heavily entrenched in that, and not in a way that felt like an obligation. It’s hard to speak to a five-year period in a few sentences, but I loved doing it. But that doesn't mean I want to keep doing it.”
However, if other people starred in the reboot, she admitted that she would be interested in seeing the films, saying, “I'd be kind of fascinated but it wouldn't emotionally affect me one way or the other.”
I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t know what a Twilight reboot would be without the OG Bella and Edward, so maybe it’s best to leave it alone for the time being?
