After attending a Rela celebration on Tuesday, Home Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin told reporters that former Goldman Sachs banker Roger Ng will possibly be tried in Malaysia first before authorities extradite him to the United States to face his trial there.
Ng has been charged with separate offences related to the unlawful sale of bonds to 1MDB’s subsidiaries in the two countries.
