Malaysia's young right-back Syahmi Safari will never forget the roller coaster of emotions he went through in the second leg of the AFF Suzuki Cup semi-finals against Thailand on Dec 5.
He scored his first goal at the senior level to cancel out an own goal but later gave away a penalty when the ball hit his hand in the box in the dying minutes. He was also sent off following a second booking.
Malaysia eventually won the match 2-2 on away goals.
