Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today stressed that the alleged Sabah corruption case involving several political leaders has not been closed, and that the individuals implicated have not been cleared.
Anwar said he personally watched the leaked videos – which appeared to show politicians receiving support – and believes they provide sufficient grounds for an investigation.
He added that the matter is being investigated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, which has confirmed that the case has been referred to the Attorney-General’s Chambers (AGC).
