Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has announced the appointment of five out of seven members of the Independent Police Conduct Commission (IPCC).

Speaking at a special press conference this afternoon, Saifuddin named Zolkopli Dahlan as IPCC chairperson.

Mohamad Jazamuddin Ahmad Nawawi, who was the chairperson of the Prime Minister’s Department’s advisory board, was named the commission’s deputy chairperson.
