Sam Roi Yot National Park is one of those exquisite locations you just can't get out of your head once you've been there. It combines the best of both worlds with trails through dense jungle and deep canyons that are perfect for hiking, as well as having beautiful sandy beaches on which to just laze away the day.

Khao Sam Roi Yot has been designated a national park since the mid 60s and the name means 'the mountain with 300 peaks,' which will give you an idea of the varying landscape! Walkways that are built over the marshland give you the opportunity to explore and enjoy parts of the park that would otherwise be out of reach, and a trip across the bay on one of the local high-speed boats gives you a great perspective of the massive size of this park.

Perhaps the hidden pearl of the park is the Kuha Karuhas pavilion which sits in a quiet cavern and is one of the most visited parts of Khao Sam Roi Yot.
