Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil has asked Kedah caretaker Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor to bear the consequences of his action over the latter's alleged insult of the Selangor sultan.

According to him, the PAS election director's remark pertaining to the role of the state ruler on the appointment of Selangor menteri besar was rude and amounted to treason.

Fahmi said this in his speech at the Jelajah Madani programme in Kuala Selangor, last night.
