Perikatan Nasional election director Sanusi Mohd Nor is urging Pelangai voters to reject BN and Pakatan Harapan to send a message against the alleged liberalism of the federal government.
Speaking at a ceramah in Felda Kemasul last night, the Kedah menteri besar used an example of a recent incident in Parliament, where Ipoh Timor MP Howard Lee had allegedly used his own interpretation of a Quranic verse.
Sanusi was referring to an incident last week where Lee allegedly made his own interpretation of a Quranic verse when he was debating the 12th Malaysia Plan Mid-Term Review in the Dewan Rakyat.
