Sayangi Malaysiaku National Day at Putrajaya (3)

The 2018 61st Merdeka Day celebration was witnessed by 300,000 people in Putrajaya on 31 August in good weather.This momentous day  also  marks the return of the annual celebration to the administrative heart of the country in Putrajaya  after 13 years. This year's celebration theme 'Sayangi Malaysiaku' embodies a new Malaysian spirit of patriotism with a new government headed by Tun Mahathir, who ironically set the formation of Putrajaya. Helicopters, blazing jets. tanks, missile carriers, 14-gun salute, a gigantic Malaysia flag carried by 60 people, and rows and rows of flag carrying personnel were part of  the showcase of the day.
