The Selangor cabinet might replace its present fleet of vehicles with electric cars in the future.
State executive councillor Elizabeth Wong said this was necessary to reduce the overall carbon footprint.
However, the cars now in use are not scheduled for replacement yet, said Wong (PKR-Bukit Lanjan), the exco member in charge of tourism, environment, green technology and consumer affairs.
