Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine today at the Shah Alam Hospital.
Some 34 other officials were also administered the vaccine during a state launch of the immunisation programme, including Deputy Health Minister Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali, state ex officio members, state exco members, and state security council committee members.
Amirudin said all of Selangor's assemblypersons will be vaccinated in the first phase of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme because they are considered frontliners.
