Following widespread criticism, the Selangor government has changed its mind and will no longer seek to develop the Kuala Langat (North) forest reserve.

In a statement following yesterday’s state executive council (exco) meeting, Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said the excised portion of the forest will be “re-gazetted”.
