o what do you get when you combine the princess of pop with an actual musical QUEEN? One epic night that will FOREVER live on in their hearts.
Selena Gomez’ heart will forever go on with so many memories after this weekend when her and a group of girlfriends hit the strip in Las Vegas to attend Celine Dion’s final residency performance until May at the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. Lucky for us, Selena documented the evening via Snapchat, posting photos and videos of her and her girls singing along to the show. Check it out:
And because a concert isn’t complete without some sick memorabilia, Selena and her girls even purchased matching Celine Dion T-shirts, you know, so their hearts can go on with as many memories as possible.
And as if the night couldn’t already get ANY better, Selena and her friends even got the chance of a lifetime to meet their “QUEEN” as one Snapchat described Celine, backstage after the show. Celine and Selena posed together, and just as you’d guess, they both looked absolutely flawless, but I guess that’s what you get when popstar meets musical legend.
Although this marks Celine’s final performance before her 2-month hiatus, she took to Instagram to thank her fans for the love and support following her husband and former manager, Rene Angelil’s passing, writing, "Thanks to my fans and to the amazing Colosseum public, that night after night gave me the energy to go on and make a show that René would be proud of."
