Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lawrence spread holiday cheer by visiting their local Children’s hospitals on Christmas Eve.

Selena Gomez and Jennifer Lawrence give the ultimate gift: the gift of kindness. Selena Gomez stepped out for a rare public appearance on Christmas Eve in the spirit of giving back. The singer stopped by Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas to visit the patients. Selena spent time with fourteen kids and families where they decorated Holiday cookies and spent time in the playroom. One source told E! News of Selena’s visit QUOTE, “She was very sweet and amazing with the kids! There were some tears, so it was pretty emotional for some patients.”
No doubt those were tears of joy for the patients who couldn’t be home for Christmas this year. One fan named Madison was thrilled by the visit, and her Mom posted this selfie of her with Selena on Instagram and wrote, “Selena came to see Madison today! Love that she took time out of her busy schedule to make her day! Shelby and Madison both remember watching her on Barney, Wizards of Waverly Place and have been listening to her music for years! Such a great gift of kindness she showed us today!!”
Actress Jennifer Lawrence also visited her local children’s hospital on Christmas Eve, and for the third year in a row! Jen surprised the Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky and posed for photos with patients and staff. Jen’s yearly visit is kept very secret with staff not knowing of her arrival until she shows up. The hospital features a “Jennifer Lawrence Foundation Cardiac Intensive Care Unit” after her generous $2 million dollar donation in February.
