Since this is clearly the year of television show comebacks, it’s only natural that fans of the hit Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place are expecting the same outcome. Earlier this year, both Selena Gomez and her costar David Henrie got fans all riled up when they took to social media to predict where the Russo kids would be now, resulting in the floodgates pouring open with hopes of a reboot.
However, Selena recently appeared on the Zach Sang show, where she admitted the two were never exactly on board with the idea, and that it just may not be the right time…
She added that although it was such a fun time in her life, she didn’t think it would be that big of a deal when she and David were casually talking about it, BUT don’t think I’d leave you hanging without a bit of good news. Seeing as though Selena has tacked on producing roles to her belt, all thanks to 13 Reasons Why, Zach then asked if she’d be down to executive produce a next-gen Wizards, to which she seemed much more on board with…
So hey, clearly anything could happen, but it seems like Selena is currently putting her music career first, which I’m totally not mad about, by the way.
