There have been a LOT of Selena Gomez headlines flying around as of late, but it looks like the 21-year-old singer is ready to take matters into her own hands. Earlier this week, Selena posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption:
"Taking my power back.. can't wait to show you where I've been. I love y'all. Ps, I still obsess over pickles."
As you can see, Selena is looking very happy and healthy in the pic where she's sporting a cute yellow bikini and she's letting the ocean waves -- and sand -- wash over her. Now, the message behind it is somewhat cryptic, but many have assumed it has something to do with her on-again/off again rocky relationship with Justin Bieber and that maybe she is sending out the message that they're really done for good this time?
Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that Jennifer Aniston reportedly wants to mentor her? Yes, there have been reports that the Friends actress and Selena had dinner together in L.A. last week, where the two were overheard discussing her career. Sources are saying quote:
"Jennifer is really interested in making Selena's transition very easy with her new movie career goals, now that they are working with the same people. They aren't working on anything together as of yet or any time soon but Jen likes the idea of making herself a mentor for Selena."
As you might recall, Selena fired her mom from being her manager last month, and has signed with WME, where Jen is also a client herself.
