Selena Gomez has her next big movie project confirmed, and we couldn’t be any more excited about her co-star!
So Selena is set to team up with the awesome Paul Rudd for an upcoming movie called The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving. According to Deadline, she’s set to play the role of Dot, who is described as “a sassy 17 year old who hitches a ride” with a pair of peeps – one is Paul Rudd’s character who is the caregiver to a teen named Trevor who has muscular dystrophy. The movie description goes on to say that it’s Dot’s forwardness and lack of embarrassment about the fellow teen’s condition that causes him to crush hard on her.
Selena shared the announcement on her Twitter earlier today, and now it makes sense why she and Paul were hanging out at the Golden Globes this weekend. We should have known something was in the works. We hear that The Revised Fundamentals of Caregiving – which is based on a novel by the same name – will begin production on January 22 in Atlanta.
I’m already looking WAY forward to the press tour when Paul goes on Conan to promote this film… so we get to see this. But again. This is amazing. Like in all sense of the word…
